I had spotted this text in the hallway of a subway stop and started to shoot it, when an MTA worker came up and said it would be gone in a minute. He wasn’t lying – he rolled paint over the words quickly, and it was gone. When he was done, “Wet Paint” was the only clue that something had been there moments before.
